1. Who we are

Pokequizz (pokequizz.com) is an unofficial fan site, edited by The Pokequizz Team, operated personally and non-commercially.

2. Data we collect

When you sign in via Google, Discord or Twitch, we only collect:

• Your email address
• Your display name and profile picture from the OAuth provider
• Your quiz scores and gameplay statistics

Without an account, no personal data is tied to you: you can play as a guest.

3. How we use your data

Your data is used to display your username on leaderboards, save your progress and run the site's features (anti-cheat, daily challenges, avatar unlocks).

4. Cookies and local storage

The site uses local storage and technical cookies that are required for it to work:

• Keeping you signed in
• Remembering your language (FR / EN / ES / JA) and UI preferences
• Technical anti-cheat measures for leaderboards

The site may also set cookies or use similar technologies provided by our technical partners (see section 5) or by third-party services that may be integrated in the future, in accordance with applicable regulations and with your consent when required.

5. Third-party services

To run, the site relies on a few technical partners that may process some data (at minimum your IP address and HTTP headers):

• Cloudflare :hosting, CDN, DDoS protection
• Supabase :database and authentication (EU servers)
• Google, Discord, Twitch :only if you choose to sign in via one of these OAuth providers (you remain subject to their own policies)
• Google Fonts :web font delivery
• Google Analytics 4 :anonymized audience measurement (page views, visit duration). For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google consent mode defaults to "denied": no advertising or measurement cookie is set without your consent.
• Microsoft Clarity :usability measurement (anonymized heatmaps and journeys) to improve the interface

We do not sell your data to third parties for commercial purposes and we limit transfers to what is strictly necessary for the site to operate.

6. Retention

Your data is kept as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, object to, restrict and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (CNIL in France).

8. Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the deletion page (sign-in required). Deletion is immediate and irreversible: profile, scores, stats and unlocks are permanently wiped.

9. Hosting

Data is hosted on EU servers, behind Cloudflare.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site or to regulations. The date at the top of the page shows the last revision.
